TAIPEI, Taiwan, June 5, 2018 — ASUS today displayed the latest lineup of personal, business and gaming products at the ASUS and Republic of Gamers (ROG) booths at Computex 2018. Together, the ASUS and ROG booths are the biggest of any company at one of the world’s largest computer and technology expos, showcasing more than 1,600 booths from more than 5,000 exhibitors.
Located in the middle of the 4th floor of the Nangang Exhibition Center, the ASUS and ROG booths showcase the latest innovations for different consumer needs and feature a diverse array of award-winning products, including notebooks, smartphones, smartwatches, all-in-one (AiO) PCs, displays, projectors, networking devices, motherboards, graphics cards and accessories.
On his visit to the ASUS and ROG booths at Computex 2018, ASUS CEO, Jerry Shen said, “Our expansive displays at Computex 2018 are commensurate with the ever-growing ASUS vision of incorporating cutting-edge performance and the latest technologies into products to provide the most seamless, productive and entertaining experiences for consumers.”
The ASUS booth at Computex 2018 showcases a variety of digital solutions for home and business. The booth is easily recognizable from its sleek futuristic design with an undulated ceiling in gradients of blue covering a spacious display area for ASUS to present its vision for the future, where AI, big data and cloud computing combine to create a seamless and joyful digital life for everyone. One of the main attractions of the booth is the ZenBook Pro 15 (UX580) area, which features an oversized version of the notebook that highlights ScreenPad, a revolutionary new input device designed to change the way users work and interact with their notebook. ScreenPad cleverly combines a touchpad with a high-resolution, full-color touchscreen to offer novel ways of interacting intelligently with both Windows apps and dedicated programs called ScreenPad Apps. Visitors to the booth will be able to try the innovative ScreenPad for themselves.
The Zenbo area highlights Zenbo Management Console (ZMC), a new web application that enables commercial users to configure one or multiple Zenbo devices remotely. Features of ZMC include remote setup of Zenbo via a PC or tablet, performing software upgrades, customizing the default system settings, enabling or disabling settings such as Bluetooth and dispatching multiple Zenbo into groups.
The brand-new TUF Gaming series is also on display. Designed with a focus on durability and stability, the latest TUF Gaming products include the TUF Gaming FX504 laptop, Gaming FX10CP desktop, TUF Gaming GT501 chassis, TUF Gaming K5 keyboard, TUF Gaming M5 mouse and TUF Gaming H5 headset. The booth display also showcases the new TUF Gaming Alliance, a collaboration between ASUS and a selection of major PC-component manufacturers to guarantee both product compatibility and aesthetic harmony.
Visitors to the ASUS booth can also experience products announced at the ASUS Unleash Your Creative Power press event, including ZenBook S, ZenBook Pro 15, ZenBook Pro 14, VivoBook S15, VivoBook S14, VivoBook S13 and VivoWatch BP. Additional new products on display at Computex 2018 include the VivoBook Flip 14 (TP412) notebook, Zen AiO 27 all-in-one PC, Lyra Voice mesh Wi-Fi system, RT‑AX88U router, AiMesh AX6100 Wi-Fi System, ProArt PA90 mini PC, ProArt PA34V monitor, VG49V monitor, CG32 monitor, H370 Mining Master motherboard and Hyper M.2 X16 CARD V2 motherboard. The booth has a variety of different areas showcasing products from categories, such as robotics, displays, projectors, notebooks, all-in-one PCs, networking, gaming and motherboards.
The Republic of Gamers (ROG) booth is located next to the ASUS booth and showcases the most powerful and premium gear designed for gamers and gaming enthusiasts. Decorated with the ROG logo and featuring the signature red and black ROG color theme, the booth provides interactive and immersive experiences for visitors who want to try the latest gaming innovations.
Visitors to the ROG booth are greeted by cosplay characters from Overwatch and League of Legends. Visitors are also welcome to play these two popular games in a designated gaming area equipped with ROG Strix SCAR and Hero II laptops, Strix GL12 desktops and Strix PG258Q monitors. PUBG captain, Sweaterr, will visit the ROG booth on June 5 for a tour and livestreaming demo. Additionally, a live tournament with four PUBG streamers will be held on June 9. Visitors will have a chance to challenge the four streamers in three rounds of PUBG matches, with the winner of each round receiving a selection of ROG accessories as prizes.
Gaming products announced at the For Those Who Dare press event and featured at the ROG booth include ROG Phone, the ROG Strix SCAR II and Hero II laptops, ROG Ryujin and Ryuo CPU coolers, ROG Thor 1200W power supply, ROG Rapture GT-AX11000 Wi-Fi router, ROG Delta headset, ROG Balteus Qi mouse pad, ROG Gladius II Wireless mouse, Ranger Series backpack and ROG Strix Chassis. Visitors can also experience demonstrations of Aura Sync lighting and see how RGB lighting effects can be synchronized across all ROG product lines and controlled with ROG motherboards.
In addition to the latest gaming products, the ROG booth features a Powered by ASUS (PBA) area displaying custom high-end system builds from six world-class partners: Mayn, Digital Storm, PPCG, SYSGEAR Corp, HyperPC and Scan Computers. The custom systems feature water cooling and the latest ROG motherboards and graphics cards, demonstrating the unlimited possibilities and outstanding performance provided by ROG.
