LAS VEGAS, USA, January 6, 2026 – ASUS today announced the TUF Gaming TM500, a compact desktop with the power to drive the latest games. Powered by up to an AMD Ryzen™ 7 260 processor, up to an AMD Radeon™ RX 9060 XT or NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 5060 GPU, up to 64GB of DDR5 RAM, and 1TB of PCIe® 4.0 storage, the TM500 is a well-rounded machine for esports and AAA gamers alike. A custom heatsink helps draw desktop-level performance from this mobile CPU, with significantly less power required. Housed in a compact chassis that features classic TUF Gaming style, the TM500 is an excellent fit in bedrooms and dorm rooms anywhere.
High-performance components
The TUF Gaming TM500 is powered by up to an AMD Ryzen 7 260 processor with eight Zen 4 CPU cores and 16 threads with a max boost of 5.1GHz, giving the machine ample performance in the latest games and applications. The TM500 can be equipped with either up to an AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT or up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 GPU.
The AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT boasts the latest RDNA™ 4 enhancements, including AMD-HYPR-RX and AMD Fluid Motion Frames for silky smooth framerates in the latest titles. Likewise, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 features all of the latest Blackwell architecture features including 5th Gen Tensor Cores, DLSS 4 upscaling, and Multi Frame Generation to power incredible performance in the games of today and tomorrow. No matter which variant gamers choose, the TUF Gaming TM500 is built to power an incredible gaming experience.
Equipped with up to 64GB of DDR5 5600MHz memory, the TUF Gaming TM500 has more than enough capacity to multitask with ease. Games will feel snappy, even with extra applications open in the background. Backing up that ultra-fast memory is up to 1TB of PCIe 4.0 storage, capable of bringing game loading times down to mere seconds.
Custom cooling
The TUF Gaming TM500 utilizes a custom cooling design on the CPU to achieve peak performance without temperature spikes. A single 8mm copper heat pipe is routed to a heatsink with 1218cm² of total dissipation area. Paired with a 90mm cooling fan, the TM500 offers 45W of total cooling capacity, allowing it to harness the full power of its mobile CPU and achieve gaming performance on par with other desktops, but with much higher power efficiency and lower noise.
Rugged looks
The styling of the TUF Gaming TM500 series is inspired by mecha anime, featuring bold lines and futuristic elements that exude both a technological and combat-ready feel. With a clear side panel, gamers can get a peek at the beating heart of their machine, softly illuminated by yellow lighting. On the front of the machine, more lighting helps illuminate the front I/O panel while also subtly harkening back to the optical sensors of a war-ready mech.
Like all TUF Gaming machines, the TM500 meets MIL-STD-810H standards for durability and reliability. Tested for resistance and reliability after drops, high-altitude, high and low temps, and vibrations, the TUF Gaming TM500 is built to last.
