TAIPEI, Taiwan, June 02, 2026 — ASUS today at COMPUTEX 2026 unveiled a new generation of AI-powered service robotics that provide care- and service-related support, highlighting Next-Generation Companion Robot and ASUS Kairo. Next-Generation Companion Robot is an ever-present, in-home companion that provides interactive personalized support and helps seniors or other users with a wide range of tasks. In addition, ASUS Kairo is an autonomous service robot that can provide guidance and instructions, and even answer basic queries. Powered by ASUS Maestro AI, both robots enable practical, proactive care and service experiences that are reliable and human-centered.

Next-Generation Companion Robot
Next-Generation Companion Robot is an always-on, personalized AI-powered companion designed to engage seniors and other users with conversational, natural responses to help build long-term relationship. Evolving with Agentic AI capabilities, Next-Generation Companion Robot can translate intent into action by orchestrating complex tasks such as drafting messages on supported apps like LINE, initiating video check-ins, or even organizing personal content such as photos or schedules. Engineered for autonomous mobility in dynamic, complex environments, ASUS Kairo supports guided navigation, follow-me assistance, and real-time information delivery powered by a modular platform that adapts to any scenario. With emotion-aware AI and multilingual support, ASUS Kairo adjusts its interaction style on the fly — delivering clear guidance and real-time information as it escorts users through any environment. Initially validated for deployment in healthcare settings, ASUS Kairo is well-suited to the operational demands of other complex service environments.
ASUS Maestro
ASUS Maestro is a unified AI orchestration platform that acts as a sort of brain — connecting robots, IoT devices, systems, and workflows to serve as one single command center, standardized API-based integration, and automated workflow execution. It also coordinates multi-device collaboration with real-time visibility and control, enabling Next-Generation Companion Robot, ASUS Kairo, and virtual agent ASUS Sage (an AI presence across digital touchpoints) to collaborate seamlessly across care and service environments.
Through Agent-to-Agent coordination, ASUS Maestro translates a request into action: it receives an instruction, coordinates with Next-Generation Companion Robot or ASUS Kairo, then executes a task and notifies the user upon completion.
