Available in Jet Fog and Morn Grey finishes, ExpertBook Ultra starts at just 0.99kg[i] and measures only 10.9mm thin, offering effortless portability for professionals constantly on the move. Despite its ultralight form, it is engineered to meet US military-grade durability standards, ensuring long-term reliability in real-world use. Complemented by a full suite of essential I/O ports, including two full-function Thunderbolt™ 4 Type-C® sockets — with one located on each side for additional convenience — and a 70Wh long-lasting battery, ExpertBook Ultra supports uninterrupted productivity throughout the workday and beyond.
ExpertBook Ultra’s high-density battery configuration is a ‘team-based’ design where four battery cells are split into two pairs. Instead of lining all the cells up in one long, high-voltage row, they are paired up to create a lower, more-stable (7.8 volts) voltage with double the capacity. This lower voltage is the secret to the laptop’s efficiency. Because most computer parts run on very low power, it is much easier and more energy efficient for the laptop to step down the power from 7.8V than from a higher voltage like 15V. This results in less wasted heat and better battery life, while the flat, side-by-side layout of the cells saves space, allowing the laptop to be thinner and leaving room for better cooling fans.
