Leveraging AI, ASUS is committed to accelerating Healthcare 4.0 digital transformation for global medical institutions while contributing to the Taiwan government's vision for a healthy Taiwan. Having made significant investments in smart healthcare over the years, focusing on AI accuracy, accelerated data analytics, personalized treatment and enhanced telemedicine, this year ASUS completed development of agent-based AI and medical robotics.

“This year, we officially completed the development of agent-based AI and medical robots for use in healthcare settings, and we’ve significantly improved diagnostic efficiency and care quality,” said Joe Hsieh, ASUS Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President. “Through innovation, ASUS is helping guide Taiwan's healthcare system into a smarter, more precise, and patient-centric era”

ASUS Maestro: Taiwan’s first intelligent healthcare orchestration hub

ASUS Maestro is Taiwan’s first intelligent healthcare orchestration hub, designed to let robots and AI take over the most time-consuming and repetitive tasks in clinical workflows. By coordinating the Zenbo Jr. II companion robot, the Kairo service robot, and the Sage virtual medical agent, Maestro automatically dispatches the right robot to handle patient navigation, inquiries, education, data collection, and basic documentation — improving staff efficiency by reducing unnecessary movement and distractions, allowing them to focus on essential clinical tasks. Maestro also integrates with HIS/NIS as well as the OmniCare+ remote health management platform and the HealthGo patient portal app, enabling automated follow-up reminders, monitoring, and patient education after discharge. This creates a seamless care experience from ward to home, allowing clinicians to focus their time and energy on medical decision-making and direct patient care.

Taiwan hospitals adopt ASUS xHIS and ASUS Clinical AI Assistant

The ASUS xHIS® platform was officially implemented at New Taipei City Hospital in the fourth quarter of 2025, making it the first hospital in Taiwan to adopt next-generation HIS standards, “This partnership marks a crucial step in our transition toward smart healthcare,” noted hospital superintendent Chiang Cheng-Chuan.

The xHIS platform connects outpatient, emergency, and inpatient systems, consolidates multi-specialty data across hospital campuses , and integrates smart order entry, documentation tools, and decision support — significantly improving clinical efficiency and patient safety. The platform connects outpatient, emergency, and inpatient systems, consolidates multi-specialty data across campuses, and integrates smart order entry, documentation tools, and decision support—significantly improving clinical efficiency and patient safety.

ASUS has also collaborated with Taipei Veterans General Hospital to deploy the ASUS Clinical AI Assistant. Powered by large language models, it automatically generates professional, format-compliant medical note drafts, reducing physicians’ documentation time and enabling greater focus on clinical care. “The introduction of generative AI — supported by ASUS — will streamline clinical documentation workflows and expand step-by-step across hospital scenarios,” said hospital Vice Superintendent Lee Wei-Chang.

Near-future enhancements to the Clinical AI Assistant will include voice input, anomaly detection, real-time clinical decision support, and cross-specialty information integration.

Taiwan’s No.1 Endoscopy AI solution: ASUS EndoAim adopted by 60 hospitals

The ASUS EndoAim AI endoscopy solution applies advanced deep learning and computer vision to detect and classify polyps in real time. It features the world’s first one-click polyp size measurement technology that requires no additional tools, significantly improving diagnostic accuracy. Multiple clinical studies indicate that AI-assisted detection can increase adenoma detection rates (ADR)[i]  by at least 14%, helping clinicians identify risks earlier.

Today, EndoAim is deployed across nearly 60 medical institutions across Taiwan — including major facilities such as the National Taiwan University Hospital, Far Eastern Memorial Hospital, China Medical University Hospital, and Kaohsiung Veterans General Hospital — making it the leading AI endoscopy system in the domestic market. Adoption continues to expand into primary care clinics, ensuring high-quality smart healthcare across all care levels. International expansion is also accelerating, with successful deployments in multiple overseas hospitals, marking a major milestone in the ASUS global medical AI roadmap.

Next-generation AI ultrasound elevates borderless clinical applications

The ASUS Handheld Ultrasound LU800  wireless ultrasound features 16 AI functions that enhance automated measurements and image quality. It enables specialists, nurses, and EMTs to rapidly interpret images, extending its use across primary care and telemedicine.

The wireless ASUS Handheld Ultrasound LU800 focuses on three core areas — automated measurements, intelligent workflows, and image optimization — and now features a total of 16 AI-assisted capabilities. This includes two new functions, Auto Tissue and Auto IVC, both essential for emergency and intensive care settings. Auto Tissue rapidly identifies tissue layers during musculoskeletal scanning to obtain key indicators, while Auto IVC automatically measures the inferior vena cava, providing diameter and collapsibility index data to enhance diagnostic efficiency and shorten emergency response workflows, delivering significant clinical value.

Debuting at this year’s exhibition, the ASUS EchoLab portable ultrasound provides exceptional imaging quality and also integrates a no-code development platform and synchronized multi-signal acquisition technologies — including RF raw data and external timing control ports. It offers clinics, hospitals, and research institutions an all-in-one solution for ultrasound scanning and AI inference. By enabling clinical scanning, data acquisition, AI model development, and validation to be completed seamlessly within a single ultrasound system, even medical teams without an engineering background can build customized AI models. This accelerates the deployment and innovation of smart healthcare at the clinical frontline.

ASUS × Fujifilm Synapse 3D collaboration sets a new benchmark in medical imaging

ASUS has partnered with Fujifilm to integrate its microLED display technology with the Synapse 3D advanced medical imaging platform. The 81-inch ASUS microLED display features exceptionally bright visuals, wide color gamut, and a 0.93mm pixel pitch to enable precise visualization of 3D reconstructions, organ segmentation, and surgical planning. Equipped with ReiLI AI technology, Synapse 3D automatically identifies key anatomical structures and provides over 50 specialized modules covering radiology, thoracic surgery, hepatobiliary surgery, transplantation, cardiology, and urology. It supports preoperative planning and mobile viewing, enhancing workflow efficiency and providing clinicians with robust imaging insights.

In addition, ASUS has introduced the new MA2482A medical display that features a 23.8-inch panel with 8-megapixel resolution and a max brightness of 2000 nits. The display meets DICOM Part 14 standards and features anti-glare, low-reflection technology along with a built-in color calibrator for automatic adjustments, ensuring accurate and stable medical imaging. ASUS expects this device to be listed by the FDA, TFDA, and EU MDR by the end of 2026.

ASUS HealthAI Genie and HealthHub: Connecting smart living and telehealth ecosystems

ASUS showcased the brand-new ASUS HealthAI Genie feature. Powered by generative AI, HealthAI Genie correlates personal data collected by ASUS VivoWatch with clinical literature to deliver health insights, personalized activity recommendations, and conversational health consultations based on the wearer’s current condition. This feature bridges the final gap in health management, transforming overwhelming data into clear, actionable goals, supporting users along their personalized health-management journey in an intuitive and caring way.   ASUS partnered with FamilyMart and food manufacturer Laurel Corp. to introduce the FamilyMart Health Living Ecosystem, with an ASUS HealthHub interactive demo zone showcasing one-stop community health and elder-care services.
