ASUS Republic of Gamers Announces 20th Anniversary Charity Auction
One-of-a-kind ROG 20th Anniversary suitcase signed by Jonney Shih and Jensen Huang will be auctioned on eBay for Charity, with all proceeds going to SpecialEffect

COLOGNE, Germany, August 25, 2026 — ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) today announced at its Gamescom press conference in Cologne that it is sponsoring a global charity auction to benefit SpecialEffect, the UK-based charity that helps people with physical disabilities enjoy video games. SpecialEffect will host and operate the auction through eBay for Charity, and 100% of the proceeds will go to the charity. ROG will provide the auction items and campaign support.
The centerpiece of the auction is a single ROG Slash Hard-Case Luggage Edition 20 signed by Jonney Shih, ASUS Chairman, and Jensen Huang, Founder and CEO, NVIDIA, paired with a signed ROG 20th VVIP Kit that has never been offered for sale. The winning bidder will also receive a full set of limited-edition ROG 20th Anniversary gear created to mark the occasion.

Its specialist team assesses each person’s needs and builds a setup around them, drawing on technologies such as modified controllers and eye-gaze systems. SpecialEffect also provides equipment loans and ongoing support as needs change, at no cost to the people it supports.
