Alan Hsieh

Alan Hsieh is Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at ASUS, where he has spent most of his career. After joining the company 25 years ago as manager of the Embedded Software Development Division, Alan became Associate Vice President, leading Android software development for the tablet market before stepping into the role of CTO eight years ago. Alan now oversees all aspects of technology within ASUS, including R&D and managing hardware development of current and future products such as smartphones, motherboards, and AI-powered PCs. He also leads the company’s industry-academia research programs as well as establishing strategic collaboration and investment with ASUS’s many technology partners. Alan holds a Master's Degree in Information Systems and Computer Science from National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University in Taiwan.
