Rising Light, Santa Takes Flight, ASUS delight

ASUS headquarters ushered in the festive season on December 6th with its annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony.  

Every year, the ASUS Design Center (ADC) designs a Christmas tree that incorporates ASUS brand elements and the holiday spirit. Once the design is finished, a tree lighting event is held in early December where ASUS employees can gather and have fun around the tree.

The Christmas tree designed by ADC this year, named “Rising Light”, is decorated with flowing lights symbolize an auspicious future full of hope, energy, and prosperity. During the tree lighting event there was a musical performance by the ASUS Saxophone Club and Santa Claus handed out Christmas cookies.  

Sustainability was also once again taken into consideration when ADC designed the tree this year. The team used as much recyclable and reusable material as they could to build the structure of the tree.  

And, using augmented reality technology, people are able to scan a QR code that allows them to see the magical sight of Santa Claus and his reindeers flying in the sky around the Christmas tree. Additionally, as a part of the ASUS holiday celebration, ADC also designed a Christmas e-card with an image of Rising Light on it.
