ASUS and ROG break record at 2022 Good Design Award Ceremony
TAIPEI, Taiwan, October 7, 2022 — ASUS today announced it received 17 accolades at the prestigious 2022 Good Design Award, in both the PC and Peripherals, and Video Equipment categories. This marks both the best performance ever for ASUS in this particular ceremony and highest number of awards in the PC and Peripherals category — with a total of 15. This quantity also marks ASUS receiving more awards than any other company headquartered in Taiwan, as well as securing more awards than all competing companies in the PC and Peripherals category.
This significant achievement reflects the ASUS dedication to designing and building devices that infuse delight and create unique experiences. The awarded products includes consumer, gaming and business laptops; Chromebooks; an accessory; a peripheral; gaming and creator displays; a creator motherboard; as well as mini PCs.
“This commitment to design, creativity and incredible experiences comes from our dedication to consistently deliver incredible experiences that enhance the lives of people everywhere.” said ASUS Chief Design Officer, Mitch Yang. “We believe that by putting user at the forefront and taking empathic decisions, we will consistently hit the marks on designing products that reflect our ambitions”.
The Good Design Award system is organized by the Japan Institute of Design Promotion (JDP) and is now in its 65th year. It is one of the four major design awards recognized by the International Design Alliance. More information can be found at: www.g-mark.org/about.
