ASUS Republic of Gamers Becomes Official Hardware Sponsor of Global Gaming Talent Show uTure
TAIPEI, Taiwan, June 13, 2022 — ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) today announced an exclusive hardware partnership with uTure, the global gaming talent show created by British YouTuber and gaming content creator Ali-A. As the program’s official hardware sponsor, ROG will be supplying all contestants with a gaming bundle set that includes an ROG Zephyrus M16 laptop, ROG Strix XG27AQ and Strix XG16AHP monitors, an ROG Rapture GT-AX6000 router, an ROG Strix Flare II Animate keyboard, an ROG Gladius III Wireless mouse, an ROG Delta S headset and more, worth a total of up to US$4,000.
From a pool of over several thousand applicants, 11 gamers from across the globe were handpicked to compete head-to-head for a $100,000 cash prize and the opportunity to level up their content creation career as a uTure champion.
uTure airs on Wednesdays and Saturdays, with the first episode airing on June 11 at 6 p.m. BST / 10 a.m. PST / 1 p.m. EST on the uTure channel on YouTube. Competitors participate in unique content creation challenges that span popular gaming titles such as Fortnite, Fall Guys, Rocket League, and more. Host Ali-A, together with an incredible roster of 13 other world-renowned YouTube gaming creators including Lachlan, Lilsimsie and DanTDM, preside over the competition, drawing from their experience of having a collective audience of over 155 million subscribers in total.
The judges will provide feedback and an overall score based on the competitors’ video editing skills, presentation and entertainment value. Those with the lowest scores will be up for elimination, with fans able to vote online at www.uTure.show to keep their favorite contestants in the show.
