TAIPEI, Taiwan, May 26, 2023 — ASUS today unveiled a collaboration with SIEMENS, the global leading industrial manufacturing solution provider which offers a comprehensive information technology (IT) and operational technology (OT) portfolio including controls, industrial PCs, drives, motors and communication devices, to advance an integrated approach that will drive operational efficiency and productivity — and increase competitive advantages in digital transformation.
ASUS and SIEMENS will also come together at Computex, on May 31, 2023, to host a smart-manufacturing summit in the ASUS VIP room, No. 504, Hall One, Nangang Exhibition Center. During this event, the two companies will share their market insights, as well provide demonstrations of the infrastructure.
Advance digital transformation with leading technologies
ASUS, with Taiwan Web Service (TWS) and ASUS Cloud, which are part of the ASUS group, is uniquely positioned to deliver in-house server design, data-center infrastructure, and software-development capabilities — and is one of the few HPC solution providers with its own all-dimensional resources, plus a diverse ecosystem of industrial hardware and software partners.
ASUS will showcase its comprehensive solutions at Computex, including AISVision — an intuitive toolkit that simplifies business for system integrators (SIs) and machine builders, empowering the creation of effective AI models for automated optical inspection (AOI). AISVision reduces up to 80% of the effort typically required compared with traditional AOI methods.
“SIEMENS SIMATIC IPC is the hardware platform of our industrial edge to help our clients to connect, innovate, run applications and turn data into valuable insights,” said Aditya Ramkrishna, General Manager of Digital Industries for SIEMENS Taiwan. “It is the link between the OT and IT worlds and the starting point for AI and edge journeys. We’re excited to see the journey of customers with us, which will help to accelerate industries to achieve sustainable digital transformation.”
Speaking on behalf of ASUS, Robert Chin, General Manager of the Server Business Unit, said: "We are thrilled to embark on this momentous journey, bringing together the best of IT and OT. By leveraging our collective expertise, we are going to offer end-to-end solutions that transform businesses, reaching customer segments previously unattainable in the near future."
