TAIPEI, Taiwan, April 30, 2025 — ASUS IoT, a global provider of industrial-grade AIoT solutions, has officially obtained the IEC 62443-4-1 certification, a key cybersecurity standard for the secure development lifecycle of industrial automation and control system (IACS) components. This certification affirms ASUS IoT’s engineering capabilities in secure product development and its commitment to supporting industrial customers in building resilient, future-ready systems.
The IEC 62443-4-1 standard, developed by the International Society of Automation (ISA) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), defines systematic processes across requirement definition, secure architecture, implementation, verification, defect management, and maintenance. By incorporating this standard into its development workflow, ASUS IoT ensures that security is embedded at every stage — minimizing risks of cyber threats targeting operational technology (OT) environments.
