TAIPEI, Taiwan, January 16, 2025 — ASUS IoT, a global leader in AIoT solutions, today announced that ASUS IoT edge AI computers powered by the NVIDIA® Jetson Orin™ platform have been upgraded to enable the new Super mode. This upgrade increases AI TOPS by up to 1.7X, memory bandwidth by up to 1.5X, and Gen AI model performance by up to 2X.
Up to 1.7X AI TOPS and extensive compatibility with Super mode
Since it enhances AI TOPS by up to 1.7X, Super mode enables a wide range of Gen AI models, including large language models (LLMs), visual language models (VLMs), and vision transformers (ViTs). Jetson Orin modules support popular machine learning frameworks such as Hugging Face Transformers, Ollama, llama.cpp, vLLM, MLC, NVIDIA TensorRT-LLM, and more. This makes them excellent options for edge applications, robotics, and multimodal systems.

Models in the edge AI ASUS IoT NVIDIA Jetson™ series—PE1102N, PE1101N, and PE1100N—can now handle Gen AI workloads at significantly faster speeds and with enhanced data processing. Designed for compact size, maximum versatility, and extensive connectivity, these models are ideal for smart city, smart transportation, and in-vehicle and smart logistics applications such as smart parking, traffic analysis, and AGV/AMR. Supporting the latest NVIDIA JetPack 6.2 SDK to enable Super mode
Super mode for Jetson Orin NX and Orin Nano series can be activated on ASUS IoT edge AI computers (PE1102N, PE1101N, and PE1100N) by downloading the latest NVIDIA JetPack 6.2 SDK.
JetPack 6.2 is the latest production release of JetPack 6. This release includes Jetson Linux 36.4.3, featuring the Linux Kernel 5.15 and an Ubuntu 22.04-based root file system. The Jetson AI stack packaged with JetPack 6.2 includes CUDA 12.6, NVIDIA TensorRT 10.3, NVIDIA cuDNN 9.3, NVIDIA Vision Programming Interface 3.2, NVIDIA Deep Learning Accelerator 3.1, and DLFW 24.0. JetPack 6.2 brings new high-power Super modes to NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano and Jetson Orin NX production modules. Super modes boost the AI inference performance for Gen AI models by up to 2X.
