ASUS Clinical displays: The first ASUS products with EU MDR Class 1 classification
ASUS MH series clinical displays, including the 32-inch OLED MH3281A, 27-inch MH2741A, and 23.1-inch MH2441A, have achieved certification under the European Union Medical Device Regulation (EU MDR). Designed for radiology and Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) applications, these displays comply with DICOM Part 14 Grayscale Standard Display Function (GSDF), and feature scheduled calibration and DICOM compensation to ensure accurate, consistent visuals. ASUS MH series also incorporate anti-glare, low-reflection (AGLR) panels and TÜV Rheinland certification for flicker-free and low-blue-light performance to fully comply with ISO 13485 quality management standards.
ASUS also introduced the new MA2482A medical display that features a 23.8-inch 8MP IPS panel, 2000 nits peak brightness, and a built-in motorized colorimeter for self-calibration. Specifically designed for mammographic analysis, the monitor is calibrated to ensure Just Noticeable Difference (JND) < 10%. It also offers extensive connectivity options including 12G-SDI, USB-C®, HDMI®, and DisplayPort™. A proprietary antibacterial coating on the monitor housing and controls inhibit bacterial and fungal growth. The MA2482A meets several international medical standards and is currently undergoing processes for FDA Class II, 510(k), TFDA Class II, and EU MDR Class 1 classification.
ASUS handheld ultrasound and no-code AI platform: Enabling point-of-care imaging and AI innovation
The ASUS LU800 handheld wireless ultrasound device is optimized for point-of-care imaging in emergency departments, outpatient clinics, and bedside settings. Its lightweight, portable design enables immediate diagnostic scanning beyond traditional clinical environments.
The latest ASUS no-code AI builder platform, healthcare providers and researchers can develop customized AI models without programming expertise. This solution leverages real-world imaging data for AI training and validation, effectively translating clinical requirements into deployable AI applications.
ASUS VivoWatch: Comprehensive data collection for AI-driven health insights via an integrated cloud platform
ASUS VivoWatch delivers medical-grade blood pressure and ECG monitoring with continuous data capture, assisting clinicians in detecting asymptomatic or silent conditions in real-world environments. Its cloud-based vital sign data platform integrates seamlessly with hospital Health Information Systems (HIS) or cloud infrastructures via API/SDK, facilitating real-time remote patient monitoring and post-discharge follow-up.
Complementing this ecosystem, ASUS HealthAI Genie imports VivoWatch data into a generative AI engine to generate tailored research insights. This closed-loop system — from data acquisition through HIS storage to AI-driven analysis — optimizes clinical workflows and accelerates biomedical research.
