ASUS Republic of Gamers Announces an Arsenal of Gaming Peripherals for Competitive Players and Esports Pros

TAIPEI, Taiwan, August 20, 2024 — ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) today announced an exciting array of gaming peripherals designed to give hardcore gamers and esports pros an edge over the competition. New peripherals include the Falchion Ace HFX and Strix Scope II 96 RX Wireless gaming keyboards, ROG Harpe Ace Mini and Strix Impact III Wireless gaming mice, and the ROG Pelta headset.

ROG Falchion Ace HFX gaming keyboard

The ROG Falchion Ace HFX wired gaming keyboard boasts a 65% layout in a 60% keyboard frame, and masterfully incorporates navigation and arrow keys into its design. It features ROG HFX Magnetic Switches that deliver solid keystrokes. The switch actuation points can be customized from anywhere

between 0.1– 4.0 mm for instantaneous response. An 8000 Hz polling rate and 0.125 ms response time make the Falchion Ace HFX up to 8X faster than competitor keyboards. Plus, a Rapid Trigger toggle can be activated for the fastest typing response and key repeat rates, without the need for additional software. The Speed Tap mode prioritizes the last input and automatically releases the previous one to eliminate any time gap for counter-strafing and ensure precise aim, especially in FPS games.

Typing experiences on the ROG Falchion Ace HFX gaming keyboard are enhanced thanks to integrated five-layer dampening and silicone gasket mount design.

A multifunction button and interactive touch panel provide users with convenient, intuitive control over a variety of settings including actuation point, media pause/playback, volume, and keyboard lighting. In addition, the RGB light bar on top of the keyboard shows dynamic lighting effects in real-time as adjustments are made. Ports on the left and right of the rear edge of the keyboard allow for a neater setup and allow users to quick-toggle switch between two PCs. A bundled keyboard cover protects the Falchion Ace HFX from dust when not in use.

ROG Strix Scope II 96 RX Wireless gaming keyboard

The ROG Strix Scope II 96 RX Wireless has a 96% layout and features light-actuated ROG RX optical switches that ensure wobble-free keystrokes with near-zero debounce delay, along with integrated sound-dampening foam that absorbs pinging noises and echoes to improve keystroke acoustics. The Strix Scope II 96 RX Wireless includes a multifunction button and multiwheel for intuitive volume, keyboard lighting, and media playback controls. The F1–F5 keys are pre-programmed as hotkeys for recording and Xbox Game Bar functions. Tri-mode connectivity gives users the flexibility to use Bluetooth, 2.4 GHz with ROG SpeedNova wireless technology, or simply use a wired USB connection. The Strix Scope II 96 RX Wireless can also achieve an 8000 Hz polling rate and 0.125 ms response time with ROG Polling Rate Booster1. In addition, the Strix Scope II 96 RX Wireless includes additional ROG-themed UV-coated ABS keycaps with special ROG elements for a unique look and a detachable wrist rest for comfortable typing experiences.

ROG Harpe Ace Mini gaming mouse

The latest addition to the ROG Harpe Ace family, the ROG Harpe Ace Mini, inherits the design language of the original but in a more refined, smaller form factor to accommodate a wider range of hand sizes and grip styles.

The lightweight 49-gram shell is made of innovative bio-based nylon, and has a smooth matte coating for a clean look. The coating effectively handles sweat and grease, giving users a sure grip and precise control. The top-tier performance offered by the Harpe Ace Mini is trusted by esports pros playing at the

highest level. A 42,000-dpi ROG AimPoint Pro optical sensor with Track-on-Glass technology allows for ultimate precision on almost any surface.

The Harpe Ace Mini features ROG Optical Micro Switches for instant actuation and a 100-million-click lifespan. ROG SpeedNova wireless technology enables ultralow latency 2.4 GHz RF connectivity with up to 105 hours of battery life for gaming marathons. the Harpe Ace Mini works with the ROG Omni Receiver, allowing the mouse and a compatible keyboard to be connected to a PC or laptop via a single USB connection. Now available in a stunning Moonlight White color scheme, the ROG Strix Impact III Wireless boasts dual-wireless connectivity with ultrafast ROG SpeedNova 2.4 GHz wireless technology and a Bluetooth mode that enables connections to three devices simultaneously. Push-Fit Switch Sockets enable users to hot-swap compatible mechanical switches and to vary click force. ASUS ROG also announced Max 'Demon1' Mazanov, winner of VALORANT Champions 2023, as the new ROG peripherals ambassador.
