TAIPEI, Taiwan, January 23, 2025 — ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has announced that the 2025 Taipei International Game Show (TGS) will kick off today at the Nangang Exhibition Center in Taipei. The event will include a powerful collaboration between ROG and Qiddiya City, the massive entertainment and tourism city in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The collaboration at TGS will be the first joint exhibition between ROG and Qiddiya City since they signed a long-term partnership agreement last year. Not only will this showcase both parties' strong presence in the esports field, it will also provide an immersive experience for all visitors to feel the excitement of Qiddiya Gaming, along with the amazing performance of ROG’s top-tier gaming equipment, sparking an unprecedented entertainment feast! Taipei is the first location for a Qiddiya event this year, after multiple events last year including Japan, South Korea, Brazil, Germany, and the USA.
Inspired by a code startup sequence, the RE:ALITY-themed TGS booth design beautifully merges the "Cyberpunk" style shared by ROG and Qiddiya City. This symbolizes the gradual blending of virtual and real worlds. The immersive sci-fi environment invites visitors to move freely and discover a deep personal resonance.
Additionally, the exhibition area is set against the backdrop of the UBAR district within Qiddiya City. Visitors will also be able to participate in several interactive challenges, such as teaming up with ROG SAGA heroes and using ROG’s esports gear and ASUS AirVision M1 smart glasses to search for lost treasures. Completing challenges will earn participants exquisite ROG merchandise and a personalized Qiddiya limited edition ROG cardholder set.
